About the team

The Talent Acquisition team is responsible for attracting and hiring top talent across Kinaxis while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. As part of Talent Acquisition, the Campus Program team focuses on recruiting, hiring, and engaging early-career talent through campus recruitment, university partnerships, and career events.

 

As a Campus Operations Coordinator Intern, you'll support the day-to-day operations of our campus program, helping coordinate recruitment activities, campus events, intern initiatives, and program administration. This is a highly collaborative role that offers hands-on exposure to recruitment operations, event coordination, process improvement, and program management in a fast-paced environment.

Location

You must be in the Ottawa, Canada office at least three days a week.

Term Duration

This is a full-time 12-month position, starting January, 2027.

 

Co-op / Intern Eligibility

This position is open to co-ops and interns. To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled in full-time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date.

Compensation range

$19.46- $28.55  hourly rate. The final offer within this range will reflect the candidate’s skills, year of education, and experience.

What you will do

  • Support campus recruitment activities, including creating job postings, application reviews, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
  • Maintain accurate data and updates within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), reports, and program trackers.
  • Coordinate logistics for career fairs, university events, and campus recruiting initiatives.
  • Support intern onboarding, engagement activities, and internal events throughout the term.
  • Track action items, deadlines, and stakeholder requests to help ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, templates, and administrative resources.
  • Support special projects related to campus hiring, employer branding, reporting, and program improvement.

What we are looking for

Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to quickly learn new processes while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Enrolled in the last year of a degree in Commerce or Business program including Human Resource Management courses
  • Quick learner who can adapt to new systems, tools, and processes with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Strong follow-through and accountability, with the ability to proactively manage and complete tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.

Things that would definitely help

  • Major/Minor in HR is an asset
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Smartrecruiters, iCIMS, Workday, Greenhouse, or a similar platform.
  • Previous experience coordinating events, projects, interviews, or administrative processes.
  • Experience documenting processes, creating guides, or maintaining operational resources.
  • Experience using AI and productivity tools to improve efficiency and organization.
