About the team

The Deployment Assurance group within Global Customer Care Operations operates as an independent deployment risk and quality governance function. The team works across Kinaxis internal delivery teams and external implementation Partners to provide structured assurance, early risk visibility, and disciplined escalation for complex customer deployments.

The Deployment Assurance Project Manager is a senior individual contributor role. It does not own delivery execution, people management, or project outcomes. Instead, it applies governance judgement, risk assessment, and evidence-based signalling to influence outcomes across a deployment portfolio.

What you will do

• Engage independently with Kinaxis and Partner deployment delivery leads to understand deployment scope, approach, and schedules across a portfolio of initiatives
• Conduct structured Deployment Assurance milestone reviews and deep-dive risk assessments aligned to the Deployment Assurance governance framework
• Review deployment deliverables and supporting evidence to form objective, judgement-based views of deployment health and risk posture
• Identify, classify, and escalate deployment risks and systemic issues, influencing mitigation actions through governance rather than direct ownership
• Assess and report on overall deployment health for assigned projects, with clear articulation of risk, exposure, and decision-relevant signals
• Act as an independent assurance and escalation point for Deployment Assurance-governed projects, applying sound professional judgement in ambiguous situations
• Collect, analyse, and interpret Deployment Assurance KPIs to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities
• Influence consistent adoption of Deployment Assurance processes, tools, and standards across internal teams and implementation Partners
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Deployment Assurance operating model, governance mechanisms, and maturity progression

AI Responsibilities

• Apply AI agents to automate and augment assurance reviews, risk identification, pattern recognition, escalation workflows, and operational reporting
• Continuously refine and expand AI agent capabilities based on emerging risks, stakeholder needs, and Deployment Assurance maturity
• Apply professional judgement to ensure AI agents are reliable, explainable, secure, and appropriate for use in enterprise governance contexts
• Act as a subject-matter contributor in shaping how AI is applied to governance, assurance, and risk intelligence within the function

Education / Certifications

• Post‑secondary degree or equivalent professional experience
• PMP or equivalent project / programme management certification considered an asset
• Governance, risk, supply chain, or assurance‑related certifications considered an asset

What we are looking for

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in project management, assurance, risk, or governance roles within a high‑tech, enterprise software, or SaaS environment
• Experience working closely with system integrators or implementation Partners in complex delivery environments
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently with limited supervision, applying sound judgement to non‑routine, ambiguous, and risk‑based scenarios
• Proven experience designing and applying structured governance, assurance, or risk management disciplines at scale
• Proven ability to design, build, and maintain AI agents as part of day‑to‑day professional practice
• Experience with project, risk, or issue tracking platforms such as Jira or equivalent systems
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to synthesise evidence into clear, decision‑relevant insights
• Confident communicator able to influence and challenge stakeholders at senior professional and management levels without direct authority
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills, particularly in governance and review forums
