The Director, Product Management – Demand & Inventory, as a trusted advisor and recognized subject matter expert, is responsible for defining and delivering customer-facing demand planning and inventory optimization capabilities across the product portfolio.


Leading a team of Product Managers, the Director works closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Go- to-Market teams to build solutions that enable customers to forecast demand accurately, optimize inventory, and balance service, cost, and risk across complex global supply chains.

What you will do

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for demand planning and inventory optimization capabilities, including forecasting, inventory positioning, and replenishment strategies
  • Ensure strategic alignment across product teams, partnering with executive leadership to deliver solutions that meet evolving market and customer needs
  • Lead product direction for demand and inventory offerings, including statistical forecasting, scenario planning, and optimization models that balance service levels, working capital, and supply constraints
  • Define how customers plan, simulate, and respond to demand variability and inventory trade-offs across the end-to-end supply chain
  • Develop deep relationships with customers and partners to understand real-world planning challenges, including forecast accuracy, excess and obsolete inventory, and service-level performance
  • Engage with senior leaders and customers to shape product direction, prioritize high-impact capabilities, and ensure alignment with market trends (e.g., IBP, S&OP, demand sensing)
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and design teams to deliver scalable, high- performance planning capabilities and ensure successful product launch and adoption
  • Define and track KPIs, including forecast accuracy, service level attainment, inventory turns, and working capital efficiency; use insights to guide prioritization and continuous improvement
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to executive and cross- functional audiences
  • Address and resolve complex challenges across the product lifecycle, enabling teams to deliver high- impact solutions at scale

What we are looking for

 

Primary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field; advanced degree is an asset
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management within a global SaaS or technology organization, preferably in supply chain or planning domains
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams of Product Managers responsible for complex product portfolios
  • Deep domain expertise in demand planning, inventory optimization, or supply chain planning
  • Strong understanding of planning methodologies such as statistical forecasting, segmentation, safety stock optimization, and multi-echelon inventory planning
  • Proven ability to define and execute product strategy from discovery through commercialization and scale
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with experience balancing cost, service, and risk trade-offs in product decisions
  • Exceptional influencing and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging executive audiences

Role-Specific Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record of delivering commercially successful, customer-facing supply chain planning solutions at scale
  • Experience leading highly complex product initiatives involving demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and decision-support systems
  • Strong understanding of how forecasting and inventory decisions impact service levels, working capital, and operational efficiency
  • Experience embedding advanced analytics, optimization techniques, or AI/ML into planning workflows
  • Ability to translate complex planning and optimization concepts into clear, compelling customer value propositions
  • Highly influential leader with a track record of gaining buy-in for long-term product strategies that impact business outcomes
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
