About the team

Kinaxis delivers unparalleled supply chain agility and resilience to companies across industries with our cutting-edge Maestro platform. The IT team manages the technology used by departments across Kinaxis to effectively perform their functions.

 

 We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is designed for students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in project coordination and management while contributing to real-world initiatives. You will support project managers in planning, tracking, and delivering successful projects that align with organizational goals.

Location

You must be in the Ottawa, Canada office at least three days a week.

Term Duration

 This is a full-time 8 month position, starting September, 2026.

 

Co-op / Intern Eligibility

This position is open to co-ops and interns. To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled in full-time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date.

Compensation range

$19.46 - $28.55hourly rate. The final offer within this range will reflect the candidate’s skills, year of education, and experience.

What you will do

  • Track project status, clean data and prepare updates in ServiceNow/PPM tool and BI tools to facilitate PMO meetings
  • Work with IT team members to keep the project backlog current and prioritized.
  • Support project managers by maintaining plans, risks/issues, and action items in ServiceNow/PPM and related trackers.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications.
  • Prepare project documentation including schedules, meeting agendas, status reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain project documentation templates and ensure consistency across project deliverables.
  • Update SharePoint and Intranet sites as needed.
  • Support project managers with outreach and by gathering status updates.

What we are looking for

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-starter mentality
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Things that would definitely help

  • Previous project coordination experience
  • Power BI experience
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn productivity tools, including AI tools and features.
  • Basic familiarity with AI tools and features
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow/PPM and other project management tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment where not all problems are fully defined
  • Ability to ask questions, seek guidance, and make progress when requirements are still being clarified.
