About the team

The Senior Project Manager, as a seasoned professional with in-depth experience, is responsible for leading and executing highly complex and technical cross-functional projects and initiatives that are critical to the business, predominantly within the IT team. 

 

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful deployment of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for a complex custom brokerage solution. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, from planning and budgeting to execution and go-live. This is a critical role that demands a strong understanding of ERP systems, project management methodologies, and the ability to manage complex, multi-site deployments.

Salary Range

Annual cash compensation ranges from $160,000 to $180,000, plus a discretionary 12% company bonus. The final offer within this range will reflect the successful candidate’s skills and experience.

What you will do

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive program plan for the multi-site ERP deployment, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of IT professionals, business stakeholders, and external consultants to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage all phases of the ERP implementation lifecycle, including system configuration, data migration, user training, and change management.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify and address site-specific requirements and challenges.
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management across all teams and departments involved in the deployment.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure alignment between project execution and broader IT strategy, architecture standards, and security/compliance requirements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing plans to ensure system functionality and data integrity.
  • Manage the go-live process, ensuring a smooth transition to the new ERP system.
  • Track and report on project metrics, including budget adherence, schedule milestones, and user adoption rates.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in IT project management, preferably with a focus on ERP implementations.
  • Certified Practicing Project Manager or equivalent (IPMA and/or PMP certification); ITIL certification an asset
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-site projects; budget of < $5M .
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience managing business and vendor relationships effectively.
  • Analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to coordinate input from multiple sources to develop impactful recommendations to achieve results for the business.
  • A clear, concise, and professional communicator with the ability to present complex information to various audiences and demonstrate knowledge within direct and indirect team.
  • Experience working with information that requires accuracy, attention to detail, using organization skills and agility while managing multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.
  • Highly adaptable and able to pivot based on prioritization and needs of the business; proactively solicits feedback to ensure alignment.
  • Resilient with a sense of urgency and works in a fast paced, innovation driven, and ambiguous environment.
