About the Role

As Kinaxis expands and scales its operations across different regions, we are creating a new Centre of Excellence (COE) role within our Industry Principal organisation to support the global field teams. The COE Industry Principal serves as a trusted supporting resource to Kinaxis’ internal teams, offering experience in supply chain management and value-based selling capability, and bring consultative selling discipline to every pursuit.

The COE Industry Principal sits within Pre-Sales, acting as the backbone of our enterprise engagements. The COE Industry Principal will research and analyses customers business performance and their industries, and uses a consultative, value-based approach to create executive friendly content to be used by the Kinaxis teams for technology transformation engagement.

Your mission is to work with our global field teams to help customers see, quantify, and believe in the measurable value of Kinaxis’ entire ecosystem.

You’ll partner with Account Executives, senior Industry Principals, Business Consultants, and Industry Marketing to sharpen our industry content, discovery workshops, develop ROI and TCO models, and translate operational improvements into credible financial outcomes.

What you will do

  • Research and analyse prospect and customer business performance and provide improvement opportunity insights to be enabled by Kinaxis capabilities.
  • Provide input and help with Strategic Value Assessment (SVA) activities for prospects including, quantify ROI and business impact using customer data, industry benchmarks, and financial modelling tools (e.g., APQC, Finlistics).
  • Work with Senior Industry Principals map current-state and future-state processes.
  • Help develop board-ready business cases, value scorecards, and executive presentations that support investment decisions.
  • Help the field team rebuild and maintain key enablement assets, including the industry pitch deck, Industry AI narrative, customer story, and value realisation framework.
  • Help Senior Industry Principals to coach and enable Sales on value-based discovery and industry AI storytelling (Command of the Message, MEDDPICC, etc.).
  • Help to continuously improve our Industry Principal services and value based selling methodology.

What we are looking for

  • Batchelor degree with 3+ years in Value Engineering, Solution Consulting, or Business Analysis within enterprise software.
  • Strong working knowledge of natural language AI platforms (ChatGPT, Copilot, …)
  • Strong prompting skills, understand the output of AI models, be able to validate AI outcome, and source checking.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills for building ROI, TCO, and payback models.
  • Proven ability to create deliverable content from discovery workshops and translate insights into Kinaxis proposition
  • Exceptional presentation, analytical, and creative content creation
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment helping teams across multiple regions.

Desirable

  • Master’s degree / MBA, and degree / certification in prompt engineering
  • Familiarity with, MEDDPICC, or equivalent structured enterprise-sales methodologies.
  • Experience with advance planning systems (APS) and/or related solutions such as ERP, TMS, FMS platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate with Marketing to craft data-backed customer narratives and case studies.
