Located in the upscale Akasaka area of Tokyo, our office is a short walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke, Akasaka, and Tameikesanno Stations. 

About the team

The Head of Field Marketing, APAC, will lead the development and execution of field marketing strategy and programs across the APAC region, with direct accountability for driving all marketing activity in Japan and overall responsibility for regional execution in key markets including Southeast Asia, Korea, ANZ, and India. This role is critical in raising awareness of Kinaxis, engaging with target accounts, and driving pipeline and revenue growth in alignment with Kinaxis’ go-to-market (GTM) strategy.
The individual must be fluent in both Japanese and English, and bring proven experience in generating leads and building trusted engagement with senior decision makers (Director, VP, and C-level executives) at enterprise target accounts across APAC, including Japan. Familiarity with SaaS, supply chain, procurement, and/or AI-driven solutions is a strong plus.
The Head of Field Marketing, APAC must bring not only proven executional excellence, but also an innovative mindset to test new approaches, pilot emerging channels, and experiment with creative engagement strategies that differentiate Kinaxis in a competitive market.

What you will do

Regional Strategy & Leadership

  • Drive all field marketing activity in Japan end-to-end, ensuring strong alignment with local sales, customers, and partners.
  • Own and oversee APAC field marketing strategy across Southeast Asia, Korea, ANZ, and India, ensuring regional alignment with sales objectives and global marketing priorities.
  • Adapt and localize Kinaxis’ global programs to reflect Japan-specific and regional buyer behaviors, cultural nuances, and competitive landscapes.
  • Act as the senior field marketing lead in APAC, representing both Japan and regional market needs within the global marketing organization.
  • Build, scale, and manage field marketing resources across APAC, including recruitment, mentorship, performance management, and career development, while fostering collaboration across countries.


Program Execution

  • Develop and deliver integrated, multi-channel marketing programs (events, digital, webinars, campaigns, account-based marketing) to generate demand and accelerate sales pipeline.
  • Design and execute engagement strategies specifically aimed at senior decision makers (Director, VP, and C-level executives) at target accounts, ensuring messaging and formats resonate with enterprise leadership.
  • Lead flagship Japan marketing programs (executive roundtables, industry conferences, roadshows) while overseeing event and campaign execution across APAC.
  • Plan and execute joint marketing programs with strategic partners in APAC, including co-hosted events, campaigns, and account-based programs to expand reach and drive shared pipeline.


Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Japan and regional sales leadership, business development, and alliances to build account- and partner-focused strategies that support revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with global marketing on messaging, content, and campaign execution while tailoring materials to resonate in Japan and broader APAC markets.
  • Partner with the global alliances and partner marketing teams to ensure alignment of regional partner GTM programs with Kinaxis’ strategic objectives.
  • Support PR, analyst relations, and social media activities in Japan and other priority countries to elevate Kinaxis’ voice in the region.


Measurement & Optimization

  • Track, analyze, and report on program effectiveness, pipeline contribution, and ROI for both Japan and the broader APAC region.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and continuously improve program impact.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8–10 years of progressive B2B field marketing experience, including leadership of Japan-specific and regional/APAC-focused programs.
  • Strong experience in enterprise software/SaaS and familiarity with supply chain, procurement, or AI solutions preferred.
  • Proven track record of generating leads, building pipeline, and engaging senior decision makers (Director, VP, and C-level executives) at enterprise target accounts.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated demand generation programs that directly impact revenue.
  • Experience working with strategic partners and executing joint go-to-market initiatives across APAC.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English (spoken and written). Additional APAC language(s) a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build trust across global and regional teams.
  • Proven ability to build, scale, and manage high-performing teams across diverse markets.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Eloqua, Highspot, PowerBI, Wrike, and related marketing/sales technologies.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing performance metrics to guide strategy and execution.
