Location

This is a hybrid position. You will be able to work from our headquarters in Ottawa, Canada 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work the other 2 days from home.

About the team

The Talent Acquisition Associate is an early-career professional responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle for an assigned portfolio, with the goal of attracting and hiring top talent from around the world. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and senior members of the Talent Acquisition team to source, assess, and select candidates who align with role, culture, and business needs. 
 
The Associate will lead recruitment for junior to mid-level roles, from posting through to offer acceptance. They will conduct initial screening calls, provide candidate assessments and recommendations, and extend competitive offers aligned with our job evaluation framework and salary data. The role also includes supporting campus hiring initiatives, recruitment events, and other ad hoc projects. 

What you will do

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles across various departments, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process. 
  • Educate and guide hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and selection criteria. 
  • Extend and negotiate offer packages in collaboration with HR Business Partners and hiring managers; prepare contract extensions and conversion letters. 
  • Act as a Kinaxis brand ambassador through all recruitment activities, ensuring a positive candidate experience. 
  • Support the implementation of talent acquisition tools, guidelines, and processes. 
  • Source candidates from multiple channels, including passive outreach; collaborate with Sourcing Specialists to build strong pipelines. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of assigned business units, job requirements, and success metrics through partnership with stakeholders. 
  • Balance competing priorities across multiple requisitions while maintaining a high standard of candidate experience. 
  • Represent Kinaxis at career fairs and outreach events, promoting the employer brand. 
  • Follow established workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement. 

What we are looking for

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, sourcing, or recruitment coordination, preferably in a corporate or high-tech environment. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think critically and adapt to challenges. 
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills; proactive in seeking feedback and alignment. 
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations. 
  • Agile and resilient in managing multiple projects and shifting priorities. 
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
