The Director, Partner Organization – Japan will be the strategic and operational lead for Kinaxis’ partner ecosystem in the region. This role requires a seasoned executive who can shape and execute regional partnership strategies, build high-impact relationships with Systems Integrators, and align closely with Kinaxis’ direct sales, services, and marketing teams.

What you will do

  • Report to the EVP of the Global Partner Organization.
  • Own and execute the regional partner strategy in alignment with Japanese market leaders to expand Kinaxis’ market presence and influence through the SI channel in Japan.
  • Recruit, enable, and develop strategic partnerships with tier-1 and boutique System Integrators aligned to key verticals and enterprise transformation programs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Kinaxis and its SI partners, leading joint planning, account engagement, and co-selling activities.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to identify where partners can drive pipeline creation, sales acceleration, and services capacity.
  • Define and monitor partner performance metrics including influenced and sourced revenue, certifications, pipeline contribution, and delivery success.
  • Manage executive alignment and escalation processes, ensuring Kinaxis and partner leadership remain connected and aligned on mutual priorities.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and enablement plans in collaboration with Marketing, Services, and Global Alliances to increase partner productivity and brand reach.
  • Serve as a regional thought leader and ambassador in the Japanese partner and supply chain technology ecosystem.

What we are looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, including partner/channel and alliance roles at startups or smaller software companies.
  • Strong knowledge of the Japanese market and a track record of building successful partnerships with local and global SIs.
  • Executive presence and communication skills to influence internal stakeholders and external partners at the highest levels.
  • Proven ability to bridge direct and indirect sales motions in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the discipline and rigor to scale repeatable, data-driven programs.
  • Demonstrated success in managing partner enablement, pipeline development, and joint go-to-market activities.
  • Demonstrated experience in the planning and execution of joint marketing events and webinars in collaboration with partners.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40–50% across Japan and occasionally internationally
