About the team

The team consists of collaborative, high-performing engineers with the mandate to build/enhance/maintain algorithms to optimize complex supply chains.

Our algorithms move the global economy-- in seconds, not hours, or days. Our customers have terabytes of data that needs to be analyzed for the largest supply chains imaginable. If you are interested to solve these complex problems at scale, this is the place to be.

What you will do

  • Lead an engineering team dedicated to creating and maintaining the SCE product.
  • Guide your team to design, build, and automate applications to meet the roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with agile team members and other stakeholders in India and globally.
  • Assist in producing detailed functional requirements and specifications for features.
  • Promote software development best practices and participate in code reviews.
  • Set challenging and achievable goals for team members and provide feedback on performance.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to learn and develop, including participation in mentoring programs, technical training, attending conferences, etc.
  • Keep apprised of technology trends and recommend opportunities to leverage them to accelerate R&D.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent related discipline.
  • Total 14+ years of industry experience, predominantly in building enterprise Java applications for the web.
  • 5+ years in leading an engineering team.
  • At least 3 years of experience in building enterprise software products.
  • Good to advanced understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines and containerization, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Advanced knowledge of open-source frameworks including Spring and Hibernate.
  • Commitment to helping every member of your team perform better.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of transactional systems like Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Logistics knowledge and understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Experience working with stakeholders and distributed teams across the world.
  • Willingness to jump in and code if the situation demands.
