About the team

Maestro is a world-class product that relies on a high-performing in-memory database in conjunction with AI technology. The Senior Developer will work with R&D, Product Management, and other engineers to create test strategies and automated tests to cover system level performance and scalability characteristics of Maestro. The successful candidate will build and maintain tests, tooling, and environments, execute tests to measure key performance metrics, identify problem areas that impact performance, and recommend changes that are required to address them. The performance team is currently migrating their test environments and automation to support various public cloud providers, such as GCP and Azure, hence the Senior Developer will require an excellent understanding of cloud environments and automation.

What you will do

  • Lead and coordinate performance evaluation activities (from requirement analysis through to reporting results).
  • Test automation and framework development.
  • Work with CloudOps to push performance test environments into cloud providers such as GCP, Azure, etc.
  • Partner with IT and Operations staff to evaluate new hardware configurations from a performance perspective.
  • Provide performance insights and recommendations.

What we are looking for

  • A university degree in computer science or software engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software performance evaluation role.
  • Solid experience using programming languages such as Java, C# and scripting such as groovy, python, PowerShell and PowerBI.
  • Comfortable using tools/frameworks such as Jenkins, Github Actions, ELK and Datadog.
  • Working knowledge of GCP, Azure and AWS.
  • Experience leveraging AI to maximize efficiency.

If you want to be part of a team that challenges you, moves fast, improves constantly, and makes a difference, let’s talk.
