About the team

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Sr. VAR Manager to lead our channel partner program and drive revenue growth through indirect sales channels. Reporting to the VP, Global Partner Organization - VAR, you will be responsible for partnering with the in region Director, Channel Sales in developing and executing channel sales strategies, managing channel partner relationships, and driving partner recruitment and enablement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in building and managing channel sales programs in the SaaS or technology industry.

What you will do

  • Regional responsibility for value added revenue focusing on our Kinaxis partner programs
  • Attain goals against mandate to move our VAR partners up in our segmentation.
  • Onboard and maintain relationships with new VARs
  • Pipeline generation and sales cycle orchestration
  • Creating, executing and managing an ongoing VAR business plan
  • Work with VAR Sales director on Lead generations and distribution
  • Opportunity qualification and VAR recruitment for key future partners.
  • Outline in region Total Addressable Market with prospective VARS and Kinaxis Sales leadership
  • Coordinate with internal Sales and support team to ensure proper VAR Support
  • Drive top/down certification adoption based on regional and global need
  • Primary Kinaxis point of contact for VAR deployment projects
  • Co-ordinate engagement of Kinaxis Expert Advisor support
  • Work with Deployment QA to ensure deployments are following Kinaxis standards to be successful
  • Escalate issues within Kinaxis as needed

What we are looking for

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or indirect sales roles, with a proven track record of success in building and managing channel partner programs in the SaaS or technology industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams, setting strategic direction, and driving results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, capable of understanding partner needs, identifying opportunities, and developing innovative solutions.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, track performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize channel sales effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in channel management software/tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Fluency in English is required
