Our newest office is based in Irving’s Las Colinas development and will serve as a centralized hub where employees and customers from across the US can come together to work towards solving some of the biggest challenges facing supply chains.

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Director, Solutions Marketing, the Industry Marketing Lead drives go-to-market strategy, marketing plan development, product positioning, and adoption of their assigned industries to accelerate revenue and customer growth across new and existing business segments.  The Industry Marketing Lead provides creative solutions to challenges, analyzes and creates action plans and programs based on deeply complex materials, and owns the development of processes across their assigned industries in alignment with corporate objectives.
 
The person in this role will be relied upon to build a deep understanding of our market, customers, and competitive landscape and use that knowledge to work effectively and drive influence across Marketing, Product, and Sales to develop, support, and measure a robust end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their industries.

What you will do

  • Create compelling and differentiated product positioning for assigned industries that resonates with our target audience and highlights our unique value proposition
  • Drive the development of the go-to-market strategy for assigned industries, including defining the target market, buyer personas, and buyer journey
  • Own the development of an industry marketing strategy that brings our products to life with innovative, creative, and effective plans that deliver measurable growth
  • Understand the dynamic needs and pain points of our customers and communicate those needs across various internal teams to fuel informed marketing, product, and sales strategies
  • Curate supply chain industry knowledge, including challenges, regulations, and best practices to inform strategic positioning
  • Work cross-functionally and lead through influence across product, marketing, sales, and services to maintain, manage, and guide our competitive positioning, product vision, GTM direction, and sales enablement
  • Support the creation of sales enablement materials, including sales presentations, battle cards, and product demos, to empower sales to effectively communicate product value to new and existing prospects
  • Determine and be held accountable for performance measurements, connecting and analyzing data from all data sources to drive success over the life cycle of the product

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communication Studies, or related
  • 6 years B2B marketing experience, preferably in SaaS-based marketing and/or supply chain environment
  • Articulate and professional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
  • Active listening skills with the ability to make recommendations and consider input from others to determine the best course of action
  • Analytical thinking skills with an inventive and design thinking approach to work through problems and experience analyzing market data to draw insights and arrive at well-constructed recommendations to optimize plans and campaigns
  • Demonstrated experience leading project teams and establishing effective working relationships with executives globally across the organization
  • Ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Works with a sense of urgency, ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solver, change champion, and passionate about delivering results
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and driving marketing strategies that align with company goals and objectives
  • Demonstrated experience developing in-depth product and industry knowledge including benefits, features, and competitive landscape
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Salesforce and business intelligence tools, and experience with sales enablement platforms like Highspot, as well as project management tools like Aha!, Confluence, JIRA, and Wrike
  • Experience creating detailed positioning, ideal customer profiles, and personas narratives across regions and industries
  • Experience monitoring and analyzing competitors and identifying opportunities and threats
Working Conditions
  • Work is conducted within the standards and practices of Kinaxis Inc. Adherence to all security and confidentiality is required. Occasional travel for business requirements.  Position may have some disruptive elements such as working outside of normal work hours, which in most cases is moderate and normal.
