About the team

The Manager, NPI Solutions, as a seasoned people leader with subject matter expertise in complex technical supply chain management product knowledge, will oversee a team responsible for building resources and solutions (ie: workbooks, dashboards, forms, and scripts), using the Maestro toolset. 

They will work cross functionally to bridge product gaps and integrate change requirements into the product.

The Manager, NPI Solutions and their team will work in close collaboration with Product Management, R&D, and Professional Services deployment teams to refine the design solutions and to arrive at final deployable product prototypes before going to market.

The incumbent will be comfortable in both a strategic and hands on role, with a passion for innovative solutions and engaging and retaining strong talent.

 

What you will do

  • Provide leadership, coaching, guidance, and development to the team that is responsible for delivering on resources and solutions that enable field teams to implement Kinaxis Maestro software based on customer business requirements, ensuring solution configurations are of high quality, and aligned with user stories
  • In partnership with senior leaders, operationalize all cross-organizational NPI project plans.
  • Manage concurrent product launches from Strategic Planning to Development/Execution and all stages of Early Innovation, Early Adoption and through to GA. Contribute to product definition, strategy, business plan, and overall product success.
  • Builds investment plan following approval in Opportunity Assessment stage.
  • Partners with the NPI Solutions team, as SME, evangelist and product leader during Development/Execution and Launch phase.
  • Own outcomes and customer expectations for Early Innovators during pre-launch phase.
  • Accountable for achieving target adoption rate.

 

Technologies we use

  • Experience working with supply chain processes and manufacturing planning solutions such as Maestro (formerly RapidResponse), SAP, Oracle or Blue Yonder applications to support supply chain activities.
  • Direct experience with Supply Chain engineering concepts and understanding of statistical forecasting, inventory management, MRP, scheduling, etc. Technical skills such as SQL, R, Java Script, Python, etc.
  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • Strong understanding of statistical forecasting, inventory management, MRP, and Scheduling
  • Ability to make decisions on day-to-day activities and escalate in a timely way
  • Product Program Management experience from concept to commercialization.
  • Experience in aligning key KPIs and reporting on progress against milestones that drive accountability.
  • Track record of building collaborative relationships, trust, rapport, and credibility within the organization, the industry, and external networks.
  • Skilled in building new products and solutions.
  • Experience in supporting rapid innovation during delivery of new BBP products to early adopters during pre-launch and launch phases.
  • Experience successfully driving innovation, and scalable product capabilities

What we are looking for

  • Post-secondary degree in in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology or a related field
  • 5+ years of related experience in supply chain management software industry.
  • 3+ years of strong people management experience, ideally managing a Solutions Development team
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and engage a diverse team.
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to coordinate input from multiple sources to develop impactful recommendations to achieve results for the business.
  • Highly adaptable and able to pivot based on prioritization and needs of the business; proactively solicits and delivers feedback to ensure alignment. 
  • Agile and resilient in managing multiple leads and team members under tight timelines.
  • An articulate and professional communicator with the ability to provide clear, concise messaging (verbal and written) to multiple audiences and platforms and present information in a way that engages audiences of all levels
