Location

This is a hybrid position. You must be in the Ottawa, Canada office, at least three days a week.

About the team

The Maestro supply chain orchestration platform delivers complex supply chain solutions to our customers via our Deployment Partner ecosystem. The Kinaxis Deployment Assurance team work closely with our Deployment Partner teams to provide support and guidance, and to contribute to our deployment Partner’s success. With a focus on building strong relationships with partner teams, Deployment Assurance regularly connect with Partner teams throughout the deployment lifecycle and facilitate SME/Technical discussions with Kinaxis resources. In addition, we support the Partner in closing out the deployment through to end of Hypercare period.

 

About the role

The role will be with the Deployment Assurance team, based out of Kinaxis HQ in Ottawa. As a team with a continuous improvement focus, we continuously assess and update our process and resources. This role will be instrumental in documenting and socializing these changes among both internal Kinaxis teams, and external Partner teams.

 

This is a 12-month position, starting January 2025.

What you will do

  • Maintain and update Deployment Assurance processes and partner facing Knowledge based content.
  • Work closely with other Kinaxis teams to understand their process, impacts and interactions with the Deployment Assurance team.
  • Communicate change to both the wider KXS organisation and Partners via email, marketing newsletters and MS team call presentations.
  • Work as part of a dynamic team, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and lean princi-pals.
  • Regularly report to Deployment Assurance Manager on progress, issues etc.
  • Provide input via Continuous Improvement process to contribute to overall growth and develop-ment of team evolution.

What we are looking for

  • A university degree or final year in your studies in a relevant discipline such as Business, Project Management, Change Management
  • A passion for working in Partner facing roles with great interpersonal skills.
  • Work well in a team environment and can work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Excellent ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Eagerness to understand the Deployment Assurance process and manage change for both internal Kinaxis and external Partner stakeholders.
  • A curiosity to learn more about how companies apply business applications to support end-to-end processes (e.g. Supply Chain Planning)
  • A willingness to take on other tasks as required

Things that would definitely help

  • Change Management/Project Management skills.
  • Understanding of Software development lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools (MS Office, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, MS Outlook)
  • Atlassian Jira/Confluence experience
  • Good sense of humor is a bonus!
