About the team

The Software Developer II, as an experienced professional, provide analysis of undefined issues and recommend solutions. The incumbent contributes to and supports the software development lifecycle including the design, development, troubleshooting, maintenance, debugging and testing components

throughout the feature development and improvement process.

 

The Software Developer II will work alongside senior developers to hone their skills, contributing to progressively more complex development or testing, and actively participate in informal information and development sessions within the team.

 

In this role, you will develop web application features using a variety of technologies (TypeScript, React, C#) that will bring the power of Maestro™ technology to an expanding user community.

What you will do

  • Develop high quality code for the Maestro web client, application server and related technologies
  • Act as the development prime to elaborate, design, and implement new features
  • Enhance product quality by fixing bugs, writing tests, and improving product performance
  • Grow our design system by contributing to our reusable component library
  • Collaborate with other Development, Quality Assurance, User Experience, and Documentation teams to deliver new features

What we are looking for

  • Post-secondary education where software design is a core competency of the program e.g., Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of work experience building web applications
  • Experience with at least one front end framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
  • Experience writing unit tests, end to end tests
  • Open mindset for learning and improving
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
