The Kinaxis product management team works closely with business and IT leaders from many of the most innovative companies in the world to help them use their supply chain to gain a competitive advantage by delivery improved organizational outcomes across these three key corporate objectives.
As Product Manager, Oil & Gas Industry Solutions, you’ll be responsible for the success of Maestro in the upstream, midstream, and downstream Oil & Gas markets. You’ll engage customers throughout their journey with Kinaxis to understand and contribute to their success. You’ll provide the deep product & industry expertise needed to lead the internal organization and make strategic and tactical product & go-to-market investment decisions. The role spans many activities from crafting and evangelizing our product strategy to analyzing market and competitive conditions, to spending extended time with our customers and market to build a roadmap that delivers exceptional customer value.
This O&G Industry Product Manager is the subject matter expert assessing market position and requirements to create an attractive and differentiated product roadmap. The Product Manager is able to understand medium- and large-enterprise planning & decision processes and assesses the impact of new features and capabilities on their daily operations. They also have a good grasp of the technology trends and how to best leverage them within their product areas.
Product Managers work with every functional group in the company from guiding innovation with R&D to enabling sales, technical sales, professional services, and the support organization. Ultimately, they are responsible for continued financial growth and adoption of their solutions.
Education: Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
Experience: Experience working in the Oil & Gas supply chain is must, ideally in a role focused on technology and digital innovation. Minimum 5 years experience in SaaS product management or technology innovation role, with a focus on supply chain solutions. Proven track record in supply chain as a digital innovation leader or business consultant with technical and customer facing experience an asset.
