Join a dynamic software engineering team specializing in Big Data and AI on the Cloud at Kinaxis. We partner closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to create next-generation, scalable, and secure Big Data and AI solutions for global supply chains. Our focus is on transforming innovative concepts into robust, maintainable systems.
As part of the Kinaxis AI Platform (AIP) team, you'll be at the forefront of cloud-native big data and machine learning (ML) processing. We operate at the intersection of DataOps, MLOps, and Software Engineering, developing tools that empower our users to seamlessly manage big data and deploy ML applications globally
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience: Over 10 years in software development, including 3+ years specializing in enterprise-grade Spark or big data applications, with hands-on experience managing production data systems.
Technical Skills: Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions using Python, Scala, and/or Java, with strong proficiency in big data processing, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing. We expect a deep understanding of both architectural principles and hands-on tool usage.
Quality Focus: Strong commitment to product quality and building maintainable software.
Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to a variety of stakeholders.
