Kinaxis has a well-established team of Sales and Professional Services professionals across the US. Our newest office is based in Irving’s Las Colinas development and will serve as a centralized hub where employees and customers from across the US can come together to work towards solving some of the biggest challenges facing supply chains.  

Location

This is a remote position. You can work from home and be located anywhere in the USA. 

About the team

Our customers deal with complex problems in demanding environments and rely on Kinaxis to provide top of the line support. This is where our Escalations Developers come into play, helping to maintain and enhance our world class supply chain planning software.

 

As a member of the Escalations Team under the Product Quality Group you will join a highly motivated team in solving complex customer problems. You will work very closely with both our core development teams and our customer support organization in a fast-paced environment. You will use cutting edge trouble shooting techniques to ensure customers' installations run smoothly. If you have a positive attitude and enjoy a variety of work then this is the place for you.

What you will do

  • Investigate supply chain planning issues reported by customers.
  • Design solutions to solve complex customer problems.
  • Balance trouble shooting in a variety of configurations to deliver quality solutions.
  • Participate in a fast-paced work environment to continually deliver on customer expectations.
  • Engage with our global customer support organization to help improve product quality.
  • Shape the reliability and agility of our R&D support organization.

  • Sophisticated internal testing tools to validate correctness, performance and solve accuracy

What we are looking for

  • A love of problem solving in real world situations
  • Background in, or understanding of, supply chain management
  • Familiarity with C++ or other programming languages
  • Familiarity with software at the system level
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced interrupt driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills both written and verbal.
  • US Citizen

Nice to have:

  • Analytics or iterative algorithms
  • Optimization algorithms or statistical packages
  • Visual Studio, JIRA, Confluence, Git
  • Knowledge and experience in relational database design and usage
  • Level 3 customer support experience
